During the 50's and 6o's an old fellow built a cabin under the west end of the bridge. He was what we called a hobo back in the day. My mom would trade poutry and eggs to him for the flowers he grew around his place. In the early 70's a freind of mine moved into the cabin in reponse to his rebellon, we partied hard there for several months untill the Sutter County Sheriff's kick us out and burned the cabin down.
