And... upon further research I learn that the Photosynth site and software is a Microsoft site that does not offer Mac/Apple versions of the applications. So, that won't be happening since there are no windows in this house.

I have never seen the photosynth site before, thanks for the info. I am planning to get under some select local bridges and work up some projects this spring and summer.

Craig,

I think the photo is awesome and would love to see more for bridges. I do find the interface of the website to be a little sluggish when I drag and zoom. Is it possible to upload the photo to http://photosynth.net ? I have browsed things on that website and it doesn't seem to be as sluggish.
