Tijiguas Trestle

The proper spelling of this location is Tajiguas. Even more impressive than the steel railroad trestle is the adjacent--and splendid--concrete arch bridge, which formerly carried US 101 over the Arroyo Hondo Creek. Fortunately the highway bridge was left in place when a new alignment of the US 101 replaced it about 1980.
