No there was never a concrete bridge at Mormon Island. Concrete piers held the metal truss bridge pictured in the photo. It was the 5th bridge at Mormon Island and the second truss bridge. The bridge was dismantled in 1954 as Folsom dam was being built.
There is a concrete bridge at Salmon Falls that was built 1926.
Dana, that one is in El Dorado county.
Thanks for adding info. Believe there to be a 1925 concrete Arch bridge still under water North of there. Was told once it popped out of water a few years back.

The satellite image of this lake shows how dire the water shortages in California are these days. If this lake keeps drying out you might be able to check on both bridges.
