First Street Bridge photo mix-up
Posted April 2, 2010, by Craig Philpott (cphilpott [at] puc [dot] edu)

The historical photos posted to this bridge are for a different bridge. All the HAER photos that show a stone faced bridge from 1914 are for a bridge on First Street three or four blocks West of this bridge location. The HAER photos are for the "lost" bridge BH 11203, Napa Creek Bridge on first street.

This bridge crosses the Napa River, was built in 1915 and was the first reinforced concrete bridge in Napa County without stone facing.
