Lake McClure Drought / Barrett Cove / Y.V. Railroad

Low water level on 11/18/14 at Barrett Cove at Lake McClure. Yosemite Valley Railroad used this bridge / Barrett Bridge/ until it was dismantled after 1946. It was 1,600 ft long and just under 300 ft in height from the bottom of Pleasant Valley The train piers and part of the bridge remain to remind us of the history of the railroad.
