The date stamp on the bridge indicates it was constructed in 1933.

This bridge is part of a pair of bridges built to allow the 1 to be unimpeded by a now removed railway. The Culver-Playa Rail has been gone a long time, but from what i can tell it's the only reason this bridge was built.

It would appear that the bridge is open to traffic
