Eric, thank you for these two fine historical photos. They have been added to the site. I used to have family living in this area and I can not say how many times I crossed that old bridge and I never stopped and took a photo.

Construction of the Feather River Bridge (Lower Thermalito Bridge) at Oroville, California, began in 1921, and was completed November 1922. (History of Butte County, Vol. 2, Joseph F. McGie, 1982)
