County bridge on the famous "old military road." Original road used from the early 1800s until the early 1900s, before Arkansas Highway 22 was constructed a short distance south. Old road used by Zachery Taylor, future President of the U.S. and Jefferson Davis, future Confederate President, on their march to Mexico during the Mexican War. Bridge located 1.2 mile west of Artesian Well Road.
