Brief History: 

Written by J Randall Houp

This bridge replaced the original pony truss that was originally built at this location in 1907 by the Ottamwa Bridge Company. The original bridge was taken out in April 1970 and replaced with this steel stringer. In 1907 this road was known as the Waldron-Chismville Road.
