Visited this bridge on Sunday, 21 Aug 11 at approx 4 pm. Handles more traffic than I had imagined. All the builder plates are missing. No weight limit signs are posted. Cove Creek was still running water. The riveted pony trusses are the only parts original. The concrete abutments and center pier are all new. A low head concrete dam was poured on the north (upstream) side. Gourdneck Valley Road north of the bridge is prone to chronic flooding. The bridge is about a mile north of Hwy 51 (Magnet Cove).
