Old Walston Bridge
Description
Road straightened and replaced by higher-level concrete stringer in 1961. One pair of original steel caissons (reasoning of it likely being a truss bridge) still sits by the creek below the current bridge, at a canoe/kayak put-in. That they still exist on a flood prone creek 56 years past abandonment is amazing.
