LN - Buck Creek Bridge

Map

Description

Built c. 1872 on S&NA, later L&N; apparently abandoned c. 1914 when new mainline alignment was built slightly to west. Bridge lost presumably shortly after abandonment. Not sure of the type of bridge, but probably some sort of truss. Some piers still remain standing in Buck Creek even to this day, a century after abandonment (according to one source).
