seems like the 1994 build date refers to when the covered bridge or the gift shop portion of the bridge was added on, however the truss frame section of the bridge seems to be much older--lets say early 1900's

Its a Pratt Truss, its a covered bridge, its a gift shop, and its in Alabama. Sounds like a great set up for a Redneck joke.
