Sections pre-assembled, brought to location, then sunk 40 feet below ship channel.. Sections concreted together to form seal (method similar to Bankhead Tunnel located just north of it).

under the wallace tunnel and the bankhead tunnel there are a seirous of abbandend subway tunnels I have cleaned parts of them they would not let us look around and would not tell us much about them could you check into it few people even know about it and i have been tryen to get info on them for years thank you
