NS - Cahaba River Bridge
Description
Modern deck plate girder bridge. This bridge is really only notable for the extremely old stone or brick pier from a much earlier bridge still extant wedged beside the second modern pier from the west. It can be seen very closely, for just a moment, from the Amtrak Crescent.
